What We Do

Welcome to FamilyStrong a family-driven organization designed to provide peer-to-peer support to military families. 

FamilyStrong is a nonprofit organization formed by military families for military families.  It is our mission to provide assistance to military families in many different areas, through peer to peer support.  Our main focuses, formulated from information received from families in several focus group meetings, has been established in three main groups: military families including Reserves and National Guard

1).dealing with the complexities of having a special needs child/children,

 2) Families dealing with problems arising from deployments, and

3) Our returning Wounded Warriors families.

 If we cannot help a family find the services that they need in the military then we will connect them to the services available throughout the San Antonio area.  We have made connections with many groups that are available to help military families, many of which are not known by families that are in need of the services.
